something that short makes me think about that i’ve been wondering about for a while is, have gems always projected themselves to look like humans?
in ‘fusion cuisine’ pearl calls their physical forms “human constructs” and we know gems have been in contact w/ humans since like the caveman days (pearl once again “you used to hunt and gather. what happened to that?”)
so like did gems look different before coming to earth? did they have a more alien appearance and just changed it to blend in w/ the locals?
i know the homeworld gems we’ve seen look pretty human, and they wouldnt really have a reason to transform to blend in…so maybe not
idk just curious about gem forms and how they adapt to places
